A Blessing For Our Gathering Together [Updated]

May we, our children and our grandchildren come to a full knowledge of every good thing that is in us for the sake of Christ, as we fellowship together here and elsewhere, as a Body of Christ (Phil. 1:6-7). May our gentle spirit become known to all people. The Lord is near. May we not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let our requests be made known to God that the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:5-7).

May the Lord transform us all, by His Word and Spirit, into faithful and wise stewards, whom He will put in charge over his household, to give his servants their portion of food at the proper time (Luke 12:42).

Not to us, O LORD, not to us, but to Your name give glory, for the sake of Your steadfast love and Your faithfulness! (Psalm 115:1).  Amen.
